Academic Lead: Richard Owen
This strand reflects the importance of collective stewardship to encourage cultures of accountability and responsibility. It will work to embed Responsible Innovation practices across all projects, i.e., anticipating potential impacts of new technologies through upstream participatory public engagement and foresight activities; reflexivity in being open to one’s assumptions and limitations of current knowledge; inclusion of a range of diverse voices; and being responsive to changing directions, values and circumstances within society.
