Engaging diverse publics with questions and considerations of data protection, privacy and online harm is challenging. Users are often over-whelmed by the expected level of knowledge required to make informed decisions. This strand will utilise creative and design-led approaches to co-design with citizens (through a standing panel, in-the-wild studies, Citizens Data Agency) approaches / tools to make sense of complex data ecosystems and take control of their own data in tangible, playful and provocative ways.
