This report addresses the pressing challenge of technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) in a fast-changing digital environment by identifying the difficulties in defining, understanding and classifying these forms of exploitation and abuse. It aims to equip policymakers, researchers and practitioners with a holistic and context-sensitive child rights approach to addressing technology-facilitated CSEA. Specifically, it seeks to bridge the gap between the complexities of defining and classifying technology-facilitated CSEA, and effective and appropriate responses and protection measures.
