Strategic Funding Call

Following our recent announcement confirming funding from the UKRI’s Concentrations of Crime Data R&I Challenge as part of the Safer Streets R&D mission, we have received applications and are funding several pilot studies.

Further details on these will be available shortly.

Impact Booster Awards

We are offering funding opportunities via Impact Booster Awards to current REPHRAIN projects to support the development of external impact from REPHRAIN research in collaboration with partner organisations. These awards will support knowledge exchange, innovation and impact from REPHRAIN funded research. We encourage proposals that particularly focus on proof-of-concept prototypes or developing evidence through real-world feasibility studies in community, industry or policy settings.

Practitioner-in-Residence

Our Practitioner-in-Residence (Industry Fellow) Programme welcomes Expression of Interest (EoI) from practitioners to join REPHRAIN as an Industry Fellow.

We are seeking to appoint a range of practitioners to the REPHRAIN Practitioner-in-Residence programme. The programme aims to cultivate and provide a public space to maximise collaboration with the wider community and to offer an environment for mutual engagement and learning. The remit of the programme is to host practitioners from the wider UK/International community in its touchdown space in Bristol (current Government restrictions pending) and the partner institutions to enable access to the Centre’s facilities, including datasets and testbeds, and for the Centre to benefit in return from their expertise.

Researcher-in-Residence

We are offering funding opportunities via our Researcher-in-Residence programme and invite proposals from researchers who wish to join REPHRAIN, as a Academic Fellow.

The programme aims to cultivate and provide a public space to maximise collaboration with the wider community and to offer an environment for mutual engagement and learning. The remit of the programme is to host researchers from the wider UK/international community in its touchdown space in Bristol and its partner organisations (current Government restrictions pending) to enable access to the Centre’s facilities, including datasets and testbed, and for the Centre to benefit in return from proposal outputs.

Work with us

Job Opportunities:

You will be part of the collective of highly-skilled interdisciplinary researchers associated with REPHRAIN, initially from the five lead institutions, but growing further over the lifetime of the Centre as more projects and researcher / practitioners-in-residence start.

The Centre’s researchers will jointly contribute to the REPHRAIN Map that will systematically track the global challenges of preventing and/or reducing online harms for individuals and identify the gaps in our knowledge in this arena, and to the REPHRAIN Toolbox to provide real, actionable resources for researchers, practitioners, and citizens globally.

Staff associated with REPHRAIN will take part in all Centre-wide activities, including project-specific meetings, quarterly All-Hands meetings, masterclasses, Knowledge Exchange events, and REPHRAIN showcases.
