Cristina Fiani is a PhD student at University of Glasgow within the social AI CDT, with a curious mind and a passion for discovery.

Cristina’s journey started with biomedical engineering at UCL 2017-2021, where she was fascinated by how technology could be used to improve people’s lives. In her current PhD research, Cristina aims to safeguard children in social virtual reality (VR) by developing effective interventions to protect children and improve parental oversight.
