Dr Rose Butler is an artist, researcher and academic of Fine Art.  

Through situated and collaborative practices she considers hard to access, contested or sensitive spaces and communities. She uses adapted technology and new media, alongside analogue processes to make interactive installations, multi-screen videos or large-scale photographs. Her research brings together artists and researchers across specialisms to explore the potential for academic as well as societal impact through creative methodologies. Projects result in artefacts, exhibitions, artists talks, performances, presentations, publications and awards.
