REPHRAIN SAFER STREETS Strategic Funding Call
Following our recent announcement confirming funding from the UKRI’s Concentrations of Crime Data R&I Challenge as part of the Safer Streets R&D mission we are very pleased to announce that the REPHRAIN Safer Streets Strategic Funding Call is now open.
This call will focus specifically on the funded research, REPHRAIN: A Blueprint for Integrated Data Systems Linking Online Harms and Street Crime. Research will be undertaken into the intersection between online and offline behaviours and harms to develop and pilot new capabilities for detection, tracking and prediction of the locations where crime concentrates, particularly addressing violence against women and girls, anti-social behaviour and knife crime.
Full details of the call, topics and submission process are now available.
The total funding for this call is £100,000 (at 100% fEC), of which 80% will be funded by REPHRAIN. We expect to fund 3-6 proposals from this fund with an expected maximum funding of £30k per proposal. Funded projects may start on or before 01 December 2025 but must be completed with all deliverables accepted by 28 February 2026.
Proposals should be submitted by 4pm (BST) on 10 October 2025.
